Ebru Karabag has received her bachelor degree in Department of Architecture in 1994, completed her M.Sc. in 1997 and Ph.D. in 2008 in Restoration Department at Dokuz Eylul University, Izmir, Turkey. Since 2007, she has been working as a lecturer at Faculty of Architecture, Yasar University, Izmir. She has developed and taught a range of undergraduate and graduate courses including, Basic Design, Interior Design Studio, History of Turkish Architecture, Vernacular Architecture, Conservation of Historical Environment and Adaptive Reuse Buildings. Her research interests include Contemporary Intervention to Historic Buildings and Environments, Adaptive Reuse of Buildings.
