Dr. Pınar Sezginalp achieved her B.A. from Bilkent University, department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design in 2008, M. Des. from İzmir University of Economics from Design Studies. She pursued her doctoral research within the exchange program in Katholieke Universiteit Leuven in 2013, and obtained her Ph.D. from Middle East Technical University from the Architectural History department in 2017. Dr. Sezginalp is now an Asst. Prof. in Özyeğin University Faculty of Architecture and Design, and, instructing in Interior Design Studios and lecturing History of Architecture, Dwelling and Domesticity, and History of Modern Architecture and Interior Design in Turkey. Her research interests are History and Historiography of Modern Architecture and Interior Design, Dwelling, Domesticity and Home-making practice in Modern Turkey, Gender and Architecture, Residential Interiors, Documentation of the Modern Interior Architecture in Turkey, Digital Archives and Architectural Heritage.
